Transport Month 2009

30 September 2009 marks an important day in the Transport fraternity calendar! It is the official launch of OTM (October Transport Month).

This event is currently held at Park Station in Johannesburg. October Transport Month is a campaign that focuses on high impact interventions aimed at ensuring that transport modes (air, sea, road and rail) are reliable, accessible, affordable and safe. It promotes policy measures and interventions geared to reduce traffic congestion and is  intended  to promote sustainable transport solutions such as walking and cycling. These are just some of the highlights that are covered by this campaign.
