Tshwane Metro Police Department monitored and patrolled Steve Biko Street in Gezina for possible drag racing

Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) Communication Unit members are currently monitoring and patrolling Steve Biko Street in Gezina for possible drag racing.

The area was notorious for incidents of drag racing and loss of life. TMPD has taken a firm stance by monitoring and patrolling the area regularly, and lawlessness has since decreased.

TMPD will continue to work tirelessly to keep Tshwane residents safe on the roads, and we thank the residents who abide by the rules of the road, making driving easier for everyone.
