Fatal collision on Sweetwaters Road in PMB
Last night at approximately 10pm, KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to reports of a collision on Sweetwaters road in PMB.
When medics arrived they found that 2 vehicles had been involved in a collision, a rapid assessment was done and two occupants of the bakkie were found trapped in the bakkie. One occupant had sustained life threatening injuries and was stabilized on scene.
Sadly the second occupant had sustained that fatal injuries and succumbed to their injuries before emergency services could arrive.
Together with the fire department, the patient was extricated using specialised rescue equipment.
The occupant of the second vehicle allegedly absconded. No other details are available.
