A woman has tragically lost her life following a crash on the N2 southbound, just after Sibaya, travelling towards Umhlanga.

According to reports from other motorists, her vehicle was seen swerving from side to side before colliding with the roadside barriers.

KZN VIP Emergency Medical teams responded to the scene. Upon assessment, the woman showed no signs of life and was declared deceased at the scene.

It is suspected that she may have experienced a medical emergency while driving. However, this remains unconfirmed, and the exact circumstances surrounding the incident have yet to be established.

SAPS and other emergency services were in attendance.
