Two Injured In Head-On Collision: Southridge – KZN
Two (2) people were hospitalised following a head-on collision on Ottawa Old Main Road in Southridge – KZN during the early hours of this morning (Saturday 10/10/2026).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived at the scene at approximately 03:09. Reaction Officers found a silver Toyota Etios and a white Mercedes-Benz with extensive front-end damage.
RUSA Paramedics assessed the 29-year-old Toyota Etios Driver, who had sustained a serious head injury. He was treated and stabilised at the scene before being transported to a medical facility for further care.
A passenger in the Mercedes-Benz sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital by a private ambulance service.
The circumstances leading up to the collision could not be immediately established.
