Motor vehicle accident in Montana

PVES members were alerted to a motor vehicle accident in Montana and initially responded to the scene. Due to heavy traffic, members were stood down after receiving information that Netcare 911 was already on scene.

When members later passed the scene, the Netcare 911 ambulance was still attending. PVES members stopped to check whether any further assistance was required.

The patients had already been assessed and treated for bleeding sustained in the accident.

A Kids Care Bag was provided to the child involved, while a sponsored handmade teddy bear was given to the infant involved as a small gesture of comfort and support.

A second ambulance was required, and PVES members assisted in arranging Pro Med Ambulance through the responders' WhatsApp group.

All patients were transported to TDH for further medical care.
