Vehicle Collides With Cow: Brindhaven - KZN

A cow was injured after it was struck by a white Toyota Etios on Old Inanda Road near Fairview Drive in Brindhaven, KwaZulu-Natal, yesterday evening (Thursday, 17/09/2026).

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance at approximately 19:30.

On arrival, it was established that the motorist noticed a black cow in the roadway but was unable to avoid it. The vehicle collided with the animal.

The cow sustained injuries to its leg and body. The Toyota Etios sustained front-end damage. The motorist was not injured.

The owner of the cow could not be located and the relevant authorities were summoned to assist further.
