Arrive Alive

Pedestrian injured in a collision on Langenhoven Road, Paarl

The DFW Fire & Rescue NPC received an emergency call from Chanet Muller, a contact and member of the private DFW response group, regarding a young female allegedly hit by a vehicle, with injuries on her hands and face. Chanet did send the right location to the DFW operator and described the situation well, and she stayed on site untill the DFW responders arrived.

Paarl-based K9 police assisted, and the lady was treated and bandaged by DFW first responder Anthea Carlse.

EMS Metro Ambulance services were contacted and swiftly on scene.

It is all about coordination and sharing the right info and precise location, and in this case, it all worked perfectly.

The young lady will recover fully.
