Missing adult victim found unharmed in Search and Rescue efforts
Shortly after Search and Rescue efforts were called off for the day, Sundumbili SAPS continued conducting their investigation by interviewing friends and family of the missing adult victim. During this time they were found at home and unharmed.
It was ascertained that the victim managed to pull themselves from the water and proceeded home in a panic.
All who were involved in the incident have been accounted for.
Many thanks to Umhlali SAPS Search and Rescue K9 unit and Empangeni SAPS K9 Search and Rescue for their assistance in bringing closure to the family of the little girl and to Sundumbili SAPS members for conducting a thorough investigation and quickly locating the third victim.
