Copy of Learner License Documentation

My son was stopped at a road block and asked to produce his license. He currently has a learner license and i was in the car with him. He had on him a certified copy of his learner license document which the officer refused to look at and then issued him with a fine for R1200 for driving without a license. What can we do?

Answer

Your son has to carry the original documentation with at times when he is driving. I suggest that you make representation to public prosecutor.
