Question
When does a driver need to have a pdp (or latest, prdp) licence? According to a previous question you answered, it is for drivers who transport dangerous goods or groups of people.
My drivers transport food stock (drinks and perishables) between point A and point B, daily. They all have code 10 licences because they drive a 5 ton and currently all have pdp's. I just wanted to check if the pdp is really necessary, in this case? Thanks
Answer
A PrDP is required (in addition to the ones listed) for all goods vehicles with a gvm above 3 500kg and even lone passengers who are travelling for reward.
