Tyre Pressure

Question

Hi. I drive a 1998 Toyota Corolla 160i. I recently fitted it with 195/50 R15 tyres, I just want to know what is the correct tyre pressure for this size tyre. Thanks.

Answer

It is always best to check your vehicle’s instructions manual what the correct tyre pressure should be. However, according to the tyres size mentioned below the correct tyre pressure is unloaded Front 2.2 Rear 2.1  and loaded Front 2.4 Rear2.3.

Always remember to check the vehicles tyre pressures when cold and the same goes for deflating the tyres when the vehicle is not carrying a load.

Hope this helps you.

I bought new tyres on 08 December 2009 and on 27 December 2009 bump into a pothole and 2 tyres damaged and bought new tyres. Who to claim to reimburse my unbudgeted expense for new tyres damaged by pothole?
