Yesterday my son was transported from school to the cinema by a hired coach. The whole grade was put on 1 coach ( +/- 100 kids) which resulted in at least 1 extra child on each set of seats and several standing , and no seat belts. Before speaking to the Principal ,I would appreciate your comments

Answer

Regulation 231 of the NRTA states manner in which children to be counted for purposes of transport

A) any child under the age of three shall be counted
B) two children of three years or over but under the age of six years shall be counted as one person
C) three children of six years or over but under the age of  13 years shall be counted as two persons
