Motor vehicle collision on the R61 Ramsgate offramp.
Last night our Med-Evac team responded to a serious motor vehicle accident on the R61 Ramsgate offramp.
A female patient sustained significant injuries and required urgent advanced medical care.
After stabilisation on scene, she was transported to Margate Airport, where a Netcare911 helicopter was activated for aeromedical transfer to a Durban hospital for further treatment.
This incident highlights the importance of rapid response, skilled medical teams, and coordinated emergency services working together to give patients the best possible chance of recovery.
