Multiple Injuries Following Crash on M4 Near Blue Lagoon, Durban

At least five people sustained serious injuries following a three vehicle collision on the M4 Ruth First Highway near the Blue Lagoon off ramp on Friday afternoon, Durban

KZN VIP Emergency Medical Services, together with multiple other emergency services, responded to the scene after receiving reports of the collision.

Upon arrival, paramedics conducted a triage process to assess the injured before providing immediate medical treatment. All patients were stabilised on scene before being transported to various medical facilities for further medical care.

The exact circumstances leading up to the crash cannot be confirmed at this stage and remain under investigation.

The roadway was severely congested as emergency personnel worked to clear the scene.
