A 30-year-old male suspect, Sipho Dlamini, appeared before the Modimolle Magistrate’s Court today, Monday, 02 March 2026, on a charge of possession of a suspected stolen Toyota Land-Cruiser V8, valued at approximately R1.9 million.

The suspect was remanded in custody until 06 March 2026 for a formal bail application.

The arrest follows an intelligence-driven operation conducted by members of the Waterberg Flying Squad, Modimolle, and Mahwelereng Crime Prevention Units on Saturday, 01 March 2026.
