A young woman was knocked down by a car at Klein Drakenstein Road, Paarl.

Yesterday morning, after a short night sleep for the DFW Fire responders, the emergency nr rang to assist with an accident.

Upon arrival, it became clear, that a young woman got hit to the head by the vehicle that rolled. DFW emergency responder Anthea Carlse together with a present EMS metro Rescue officer both took care of the young woman.

After bandaging, somewhat later she was carefully loaded into the ambulance on her way to hospital.

Drakenstein Fire, Drakenstein traffic and police all came to assist and we thank them all.

We wish the young lady a speedy recovery.
