Vehicle search leads to the arrest of a drug-dealing suspect on the N17 Oshoek road between Ermelo and Chrissiesmeer

As part of the ongoing Operation #SaferFestiveSeason, the SAPS members in Mpumalanga have arrested a 36-year-old male from the Kingdom of Eswatini for possession of dagga on Sunday, 07 December 2025.

During an operation conducted on the N17 Oshoek road between Ermelo and Chrissiesmeer, a vehicle was spotted and stopped. Upon searching the vehicle, a large quantity of dagga was found, weighing 30 kg with an estimated street value of R90 000.00.

The suspect was arrested and charged with possession of dagga. He (Sabelo Terrence Ndzabukelwako) appeared at Ermelo Magistrate's Court today, 08 December 2025 and he was granted bail for R 2000.00 and will appear again on 25 February 2026.
