Intoxicated Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle: Southridge - KZN

A pedestrian was struck by a light motor vehicle on Jabu Ngcobo Road near Southridge - KZN yesterday afternoon (Thursday). 

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene and found that the male had sustained minor injuries. The 22-year-old was under the influence of alcohol.

According to the driver of the white Kia Cerato, the male was walking on the side of the road and stepped onto the main road unexpectedly. The driver attempted to avoid the man but was unsuccessful. The pedestrian sustained a cut to the forehead. 

No other injuries were reported.
