Multiple people injured after vehicle overturns - N2 near Kwadukuza
Earlier this evening IPSS Medical Rescue received reports of a motor vehicle accident on the N2 northbound near Kwadukuza.
On arrival of paramedics it was established that the driver of a light motor vehicle had lost control resulting in it overturning.
Two people were found to have been ejected from the vehicle. One occupant was found severely entrapped in the wreckage and was extricated by IPSS Search and Rescue members.
Two people sustained critical injuries and a third person sustained serious injuries. These patients were stabilised on scene and transported to a nearby hospital under the care of IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support paramedics.
A fourth person was fortunate to escape with minor injuries and was transported to a local clinic by EMRS.
