Reportedly drunk driver crashes into 2 motor vehicles at intersection and flees the scene

Stonebridge Drive/ Old Northcoast Road-Phoenix_Durban

Members of Empire Protection Service, were alerted to a motor vehicle accident at a major intersection in the Phoenix area.

Upon arrival it was established that a drunk driver crashed his VW polo into 2 other vehicles at the intersection before he fled the scene.

Attempts to locate the driver was unsuccessful and due to the vehicle being involved in an accident and abandoned on the roadway, the Durban Metro police were advised accordingly and proceeded to the scene (ref:0084)
