Faulty Extension Cord Blamed For House Fire: Mountview - KZN

Part of a home was extensively damaged in a fire on Mountview Drive in Mountview - KZN today (Friday).

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 17:06 and found neighbours dousing the flames with buckets of water. The fire was contained to a bedroom. Firefighters arrived shortly thereafter and completely extinguished the blaze. It was alleged that a faulty extension cord was the cause.

The bedroom where the fire started was extensively damaged.
