Fatal collision on the R68 claims one life and leaves twelve injured
A devastating head-on collision between two bakkies occurred this morning on the R68 between Melmoth and Nkandla, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries.
KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service paramedics responded promptly to the scene, where they provided emergency medical treatment to two critically injured victims and ten others with serious injuries. Following stabilisation, all injured parties were transported to a nearby hospital for continued medical care.
Tragically, one person succumbed to their injuries before emergency services arrived at the scene.
