Motorists urged to be cautious in wet weather.
With multiple warnings of flooding today ALS Paramedics would like to urge all motorists to please be cautious in this wet weather. Please ensure your vehicle is in a good condition, that you drive with your headlights on to make you visible and you leave a little earlier to accommodate the weather.
With regards to flooding at homes, we urge people to please monitor low lying houses and becareful. Should any water enter your house and you suspect flooding to occur rather leave the house before it's too late. Please be aware of your surroundings for example like a sand bank that may collapse onto your house.
