Fire at Port Shepstone Nursery School sends two staff members to hospital

A fire broke out at a nursery school in Port Shepstone, prompting a swift response from KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service.

Fortunately, all children were safely evacuated by the school’s staff before emergency personnel arrived.

Paramedics assessed the scene and provided immediate medical care to two staff members who sustained serious injuries.

Once stabilized, they were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and authorities have launched an investigation.
