Dog attack in Merrivale leaves two injured
Midlands EMS crews were dispatched this afternoon to a residence in Merrivale following reports of a dog attack that resulted in serious injuries to two individuals.
Upon arrival, both injured parties were quickly assessed and found to have sustained significant injuries.
They received on-scene stabilization and critical care to manage their wounds.
The SPCA, NSPCA Inspectorate, and Howick SAPS were also in attendance, working closely with Midlands EMS to assess the situation and ensure the safety of others in the area.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident.
