Two killed in a collision on the N2 Southbound near Zinkwazi.
On Monday afternoon, IPSS Medical Rescue received reports for a serious accident on the N2 Southbound near Zinkwazi.
On arrival, it appeared that two vehicles stopped in the emergency lane had been struck by a truck.
One occupant of the taxi was struck while standing outside of the vehicle, and one occupant of the light motor vehicle sadly sustained traumatic injuries and were declared on scene. The second occupant of the light motor vehicle was lucky to escape with minor injuries.
Two occupants from the taxi sustained critical injuries and 5 sustained serious injuries, patients were placed under the care of IPSS Medical Paramedics. A further 6 occupants sustained minor injuries. All patients were transported to various facilities for further care.
