A vehicle collided with a truck on the N2 Northbound in Ballito
Just before 5 pm this evening a light motor vehicle collided with a truck leaving multiple people across the highway with various injuries.
The N2 Northbound was closed, and the N2 Southbound was reduced to one lane to allow emergency services to treat patients and clear the scene of the patients.
IPSS Medical Rescue treated two patients with serious injuries, they were stabilised on scene by IPSS Medical advanced life support before being transported to the hospital for further care.
A third patient was treated for minor injuries. The fourth patient was transported by another service with moderate injuries.
We remind motorists to keep the emergency lane clear to allow emergency services to respond to accident scenes.
