Duo arrested for dealing in drugs

On Sunday, 04 June 2023 at around 02:00, members of Upington Border Police, K9 unit, and ZFM Highway patrol were on patrol, when they came across a vehicle driving recklessly and subsequently ignoring a stop sign.

They stopped the vehicle to investigate and upon searching the vehicle they found mandrax tablets and khat to the estimated value of R50 100-00 in the vehicle.

The two male occupants aged 39 and 43 were both arrested for dealing in drugs and they will be appearing in court soon.
