Man cut from wreckage after 3 vehicles collide on the N1 near the Botha Avenue off ramp in Centurion.

A forty-seven-year-old man has been left with serious injuries following a collision involving three vehicles on the N1 near the Botha Avenue off-ramp in Centurion.

Emer-G-Med paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man entrapped in the wreckage of a Toyota Hilux.

On closer inspection, the man was found to have sustained serious injuries and advanced life support intervention was needed to stabilize him whilst he was cut free using the Jaws-of-life.

Once free he was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
