Pedestrian critical after being struck down on the M41 Umhlanga

KwaZulu-Natal: At 10H32 Thursday morning Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the M41/N2 North offramp in Umhlanga.

Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male believed to be approximately 50-years-old had been struck down by a light motor vehicle.

The patient had sustained polytraumatic injuries and was treated on scene by a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner.

Once stabilised the patient was transported by KZN VIP Ambulance to the hospital under the care of advanced life support.

The driver of the car was not injured.
