Integrated plan announced to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the ILembe District Municipality
Police Minister Bheki Cele and KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala accompanied by MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Bheki Ntuli, MEC for Health Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu, MEC for Education Kwazi Mshengu and MEC for Human Settlements and Public Works Peggy Nkonyeni launched an integrated plan to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the ILembe District Municipality today, 30 May 2020.
ILembe Disrict has been identified as one of the Covid-19 hotspots in the province which has neccessitated a serious intervention by the provincial government.
The Premier, Police Minister, members of the Provincial Executive and local leadership also visited areas considered to be hotbeds of the Coronavirus epidemic.
