14 Injured in taxi rollover on the R61 Shelly Beach
This afternoon at approximately 3:40, Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the R61 Shelly Beach are for reports of an accident.
When emergency services arrived they found that a taxi had lost control and rolled off the road.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that 14 occupants had sustained injuries ranging from minor to severe. One of the patients was a 7-month-old child who had sustained serious injuries. Another teenage patient sustained serious injuries after being flung from the taxi as it was rolling.
All the patients were treated on scene before being transported to hospital.
