13 injured in a taxi crash in the Kwa Dangezi area

Thirteen people have been injured after the taxi they were travelling in lost control and overturned on Voortrekker Road in the Kwa Dangezi area just after 7 am.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find multiple patients scattered on the scene. Immediately more resources were sent to assist as well as Advanced Life Support Paramedics. Once all of the injured had been stabilised on the scene they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage the events leading up to the single-vehicle losing control and rolling is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
